Great Beginnings

Iowa CareGivers Association (ICA) was founded in 1992 to serve direct care workers and to:

» Increase access to quality care for those who need it

» Increase the number of direct care workers

» Enhance the quality of care available

More than a decade later, ICA continues to recognize the importance of direct care workers and provide opportunities for personal and professional growth.

Great Future

According to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services the need for direct care workers is expected to increase by more than 200% by the year 2050. ICA will continue to work on behalf of direct care workers to help ensure that the career is professionally rewarding and personally fulfilling.
